  1. Fantastic stay at Villa Vairoarii Moorea!

    Great vacation rental! The property is large and private, which also makes it very quiet. The beach is wonderful. The house was very clean and fresh. The kayaks, snorkel gear, badminton, and petanque were great to have available! The welcoming of fresh flowers throughout the house and in person check-in was lovely. We hope to be back!

  5. Amazing beachfront home

    My family and I stayed a week and had a great time. All that’s needed is there including snorkeling gear and kayaks and even bikes which my daughter and I used for a quick run to Champion for some groceries. Would stay again

    Propriété privé avec très grand jardin jeux de boule kayak barbecue badminton plage privé paradisiaque et terrasse pour déjeuner avec vue sur le lagon je recommande vraiment ce lieux nous y avons passé 4 jours en amoureux et ce logement peut recevoir jusqu'à 3 couple nous avons étais émerveillé et gardon que de beaux souvenir

  13. Le Maison de le Lezard Jaune / The Yellow Gecko House

    We decided to rename this home based on our experience there. Overall, the property is beautiful and well maintained. The private beach is exquisite, although you will need to rake it yourself each day and watch our for the very large but harmless land crabs. The house is reasonably updated but lacks many finer touches you see at other properties. The kitchen, living room, etc are functional and comfortable. The bathroom is VERY rustic and sub-par vs other rentals, there is only one power outlet in the light, the shower is very challenging and the toilet seat is mis-fit to the toilet so it slips from side to side when in use. The biggest issue is the overwhelming number of Yellow Geckos INSIDE the house. Yes, Moorea means Yellow Lizard in Tahitian, so we of course expected to see some, but on our first night in the house, there were upwards of 12 - 15 Geckos slithering all over the house. For the entire stay, Geckos would scamper across the kitchen floor, up and down walls, popping out from behind the refrigerator and from behind the toilet. At night their chirping and barking would keep us up all night, especially when one decided to live in the window sill right above our bed. When we filed a notice with AirBnB the owner wrote off our concerns off as a phobia, but the local attendant did come out to apply a "solution" on day three. We saw no noticeable change in the number of Geckos though. Of note, the owner also accused us of damaging a cleaver that was already damaged when we arrived. So the owner / host is certainly not the best we've encountered in our travels. Overall, this house is a very good value, IF you are comfortable with a sub-par bathroom and a lot of Geckos. If you love Geckos, you will love this house!
