General Terms and Cancellation Policy

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT :

Check-in: 5 PM.
We do our best to make your rental available at the earliest and at 5 PM at the latest.
Check-out: 10 AM.
You have to leave the apartment at 10 AM at the latest on the day of departure.
Unless you have a written consent from Tahiti Holidays Concierge .
Please send over your estimated time of arrival. A luggage room is available on request upon arrival or on the day of your departure.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT :

A 400€ damage deposit for studios and 800€ for apartments will be “pre-recorded” and not “charged” on your credit card. This amount will be released on the day after your departure, reduced by the “cleaning service” fee or any damage caused during your stay.

INVENTORY OF FIXTURES :

Upon arrival, an inventory is available in the rental; it should be checked. In case of dispute, please contact us immediately by email at chris.tahitiholydaysconcierge@gmail.com. Without any dispute, the inventory will be deemed as compliant and accepted with no reservation.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT :

A 50% downpayment is required upon booking, and 50% balance is due one month before arrival at the latest. During summer and congress periods, the full amount will be paid to Tahiti Holidays Concierge upon booking. This amount is not refundable, not exchangeable and not editable. Cash payment: 50% downpayment upon booking by credit card or wire transfer; balance paid by cash upon arrival. For reservations done less than 30 days before arrival, the customer must pay the full amount upon booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation, the downpayment will not be refunded. The amount will be kept by XXXX. In case of modification, late cancellation - less than 3 days, or no show on arrival date - the total balance will be due to Tahiti Holidays Concierge who reserves the right to reallocate the rental immediately.

TOWELS AND LINEN :

Household linen is available: sheets, shower towels, table napkins and cloth. An extra service for household linen renewal can be ordered: 25€ for studios and 50€ for apartments.

CLEANING :

When checking-out, please make sure the rental is not dirty beyond normal use. Dishwasher should be empty; dishes clean and put away; and trashes empty. In case the rental is left as is, a fee of 30€ for studios and 60€ for apartments may be deducted from the amount of your damage deposit.

NON SMOKING POLICY :

Smoking is strictly forbidden in common areas and within the apartments.

INTERNET/WI-FI :

Access to Internet/Wi-Fi is included and complimentary during your stay.
Tahiti Holidays Concierge will not be liable for any interruption of service caused by the Internet provideror any other cause beyond its control. No refund and no discount will be granted in case of unavailability of the network access.

CANCELLATION CLAUSE:

The concerned apartments hereafter mentioned are exclusively used for vacation rental, as a temporary residence and for lessee’s use. This particular rental is excluded from law n°89-462 from July 6th, 1989.

NON-PAYMENT :

In case of non-payment on the agreed due dates or in case one of the clauses is broken, and 5 working days after a reminder via registered letter with no response, this agreement will be immediately terminated and the lessor is entitled to keep the deposit as first damages, according to article 1590 from the French civil code.

HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING :

Tahiti Holidays Concierge will not be liable for any dysfunction of air conditioning for any cause outside of its control. No refund or discount will be granted in case of unavailability during the stay.

LIABILITY :

All rentals are controlled and checked by Tahiti Holidays Concierge . The advertising descriptions are true to reality and written in good faith. For any complaint, the lessee commits to inform Tahiti Holidays Concierge by email within 48hr. The lessee also commits to collaborate with Tahiti Holidays Concierge to try to solve the issue. Without any written communication and express consent from Tahiti Holidays Concierge , the lessee leaving the rental before the agreed check-out date will lose the right to get a refund for his full stay. Complaints notified after the check-out date will waive the lessee’s right to get a refund.

Tahiti Holidays Concierge reserves the right to reallocate another rental with similar or higher characteristics. If the lessee refuses the transfer, Tahiti Holidays Concierge will refund the amounts already paid, but the lessee will not be entitled to any additional compensation.

MAINTENANCE :

If during the stay, the lessor needs to have someone operate following the lessee’s request (sent by email), like maintenance companies (blocked drains, broken domestic appliances, broken glass…) and if the lessor’s responsibility is cleared, those operations will be charged. Key loss: 50€ (lock and keys replacement).

RESPECT AND OTHERS :

The rental is strictly reserved for the lessee and his family.
